The American Academy of Ophthalmology is the professional association of ophthalmologists (eye MDs). Ophthalmologists are specialized doctors licensed to provide comprehensive eye care, including medical, surgical, and optical care. The Academy offers a variety of public services including information and help lines for vision problems related to glaucoma, diabetes, senior eye care, and other vision problems.
