La hierba de San Juan podría reducir los niveles de estos medicamentos en la sangre.1 Esto podría causar un incremento en la gravedad de los síntomas psicóticos.

Quizá aún más peligrosamente, si los niveles de medicación son ajustados para un individuo que ya tome la hierba de San Juan, suspender la hierba podría causar que esos niveles se eleven, potencialmente causando síntomas tóxicos.
