Reducing Your Risk of Hyperthyroidism

There are no current guidelines to prevent hyperthyroidism.

Taking too much thyroid hormone replacement medicine can result in hyperthyroidism. It is important to follow the treatment plan and get blood tests regularly. Sometimes excess iodine from kelp can also cause hyperthyroidism.
