Symptoms of Insomnia

Insomnia symptoms may include:

  • Problems falling asleep, staying asleep, or both
  • Early awakening.
  • Not feeling refreshed after sleep and/or feeling tired during the day

Insomnia may lead to other problems, such as:

  • Problems focusing or performing at work or school
  • Moodiness or trouble getting along with others
  • Lack of energy or motivation
  • More errors or accidents
  • Tension headaches or digestive problems
  • Worries about sleep
