Screening for Urinary Tract Infection (UTI)

Screening tests can lead to early diagnosis and treatment. Tests are often given to people without symptoms, but who may be at higher risk, such as people who:

  • Are 12 to 16 weeks pregnant
  • Will be having a procedure on the urinary system
  • Had a kidney transplant within the past 6 months
