Treatments for Multiple Sclerosis (MS)

MS is treated by managing health problems, lowering the risk of flare-ups, and slowing the disease. Lifestyle changes will need to be made. A person may also need to take medicines and have other treatments like physical therapy or counseling.

Surgical procedures cannot cure MS, but some may help ease symptoms.
